Criteria and Weightages for Admission

It is as per Calicut University norms fixed from time to time. Present criteria for admission is as follows for Private Management Institutes
Out of total seats, 50% is merit quota and 50% management quota. Management quota is filled up after preparing a rank list based on a Management Associations test or any other test approved by University will in advance or the State Government. Based on that Management Association test/test score, candidates are short listed for Group Discussion and Personal interview..
For merit quota seats the students should qualify the entrance test conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination, Santhi Nagar, Thiruvananthapuram.
Students should pass any degree of the University of Calicut or that of IGNOU or that of any other University or Institute or Institutions recognized by the UGC or AICTE. In all the cases, the students should have pass the degree examination without less than 60% marks in aggregate (59.99% is not eligible) and relaxation will be given to those candidates who belong to SC/ST, OBC and other eligible communities.
