The course focuses on the design aspects and Automobile Engineering in respect of power train, Body and Chassis, Suspension Dynamics and Noise Vibration Harshness.
The study programme is developed to support engineers working in design sector in the automotive industry by providing a rigorous grounding in the applications of advanced computer based stimulation techniques, and skills are developed in the use of virtual reality as a visualization and solution tool for the representation and behavioral simulation of components & systems within present day and future vehicles. The tools used are capable to support theoretical and practical applications of knowledge and skills.

Therefore the employment potential is very high. The number of colleges offering Automobile Engineering course are very few and so there exits a shortage for trained engineers.
